Today is March 5th 2025 and it has been a long 24 hours for a lot of people in East Texas without power and in some cases, with homes that have become inhabitable. Heavy storms blew through East Texas once again and damaged many homes and buildings, tearing the roofs of historic properties and mobile homes alike. Water damages are going to be prevalent. Winds have toppled trees, smashed fences, garages, houses and more. The sunny morning that has followed is starting to warm the day and it is the calm after the storm today. Peaceful and promising. We have a new day. We pick up the pieces and move forward. It is all we can do.
